The Bulk Password Reset feature allows the MIS Coordinator to do a bulk password reset for students with the click of a button.
This is normally done at the beginning of a semester or session, and it is required when the school requires that all students should have a uniform password for accessibility.
Kindly follow these steps to learn;
1. How to do a Bulk Password Reset
a. Locate and click 'Manage Users'.
b. A pop-up window will be displayed; as shown below;
c. Click 'Passwords Reset'. Click the drop-down list beneath to select the category of students for which you want to reset their passwords. Either New or Returning Students.
d. Click the drop-down list on the right side of the screen to choose the mode of the password reset.
i. Custom Password: This allows all students to have the same password
ii. Random Password: This allows all students to have unique and random passwords.
e. If you choose ' Custom Password', you will be required to enter the password all the students should have in the text box titled, 'Input Custom Password' and 'Confirm Custom Password'; as shown above. (Minimum of 8 characters is required; it could be alphanumeric).
