How To Manage Score Entry Time Frame

The score entry time frame allows you to set and open the score entry time to enable course lecturers input scores. This privilege is found under 'Academic Secretary'  and 'MIS Coordinator' by default but can be configured to be under any role as the school deems fit.

The Score Entry Time Frame is categorized into three (3):

a. General Score Entry Time Frame: This feature allows you to set and open the score entry time frame across the board.  

b. Sub-Program Time Frame: This feature allows you to set and open the score entry time frame based on sub-program. This is useful when only a sub-program needs to input scores as to the entire school.

c. Course Score Time Frame: This feature allows you to open and set score entry time frame for a specified course at a specific level. This eliminates the need to open a score time frame for the entire school in order to update or input a score for the said course

General Score Entry Time Frame
 
1. Search and locate 'Score Entry Time Frame' as shown below:


2. Click on 'Add' button and a dialogue box will pop-up as shown below. Click in the text field provided by the pop-up and you will be presented with a date picker. Select the desired date and month and click on the 'Save' button to save.


To Update a Score Entry Time Frame

1.  Select the desired entry you want to update and click on the 'Update' button to update as shown in the image below.


 
To Delete A Score Entry Time Frame

1. Select the desired entry and click on the 'Delete' button to delete that entry. You will be prompted with a confirmation message, if you are sure of the action, click on 'Ok' to proceed.


How To Set Sub-Program Score Entry Time Frame

1. Click on the tab named 'Sub-Program Time Frame'

2. Select the Semester, Faculty, Department, and Sub-Program you want to set the time frame to.

3. Click on 'Add' button.

4. Click in the text field, you will be provided with a date picker, select the desired date and month.

5. Click on 'Save' to save the entry as shown in the image below.


 
How To Set Course Score Entry Time Frame

1. Click on the tab 'Course Score Time Frame'

2. Select Semester, Faculty/School, Department, Sub-Program, Level, and Course as shown in the 

3. Click on 'Add' as shown in the image below.

4. Click in the text field provided in the dialog pop-up, you will be presented with a date picker. Select the desired date and month of the year.

5. Click on 'Save' to save the new entry.


Note: The Score Entry Time Frame must be set before inputting course score. when the score entry time frame is not set course lecturers won't be able to enter scores.
